Equality

I am always amazed that the human race can look at each other and judge one another based on our skin tone, size, sexual preference or religious beliefs, without actually getting to know the person under the surface. This artwork represents all people, we may look different, or have different beliefs, but deep down, we are all the same. We all bleed the same, our hearts beat the same, we all aspire to be successful, to be loved, to have the opportunity to love another person. We just go about these choices in different ways. The dotted work around the coloured dots, represents the similarities in our make up, while the different coloured large circles, represents our individuality. We are all connected, even if we don’t see it.

If you don’t believe me? take some time to “people watch”, find a spot, sit and observe, and you will notice the familiar traits that we all have, in the end, we all deserve to be equal.
