Great Barrier Reef

It is one of the Great Wonders of the World, but what was once teaming with life, has been systematically destroyed by mankind. It is not too late to undo the damage we have done to our oceans, but we must work together to protect our most valuable asset, and its wild life.
The ocean has always been a place of calmness for me, I love to go snorkeling when I ma on holidays and watch the interaction of the sea life on the ocean floor. It is almost like watching time stand still, things tend to move in slowmotion, and the sounds muffled to the point that you can actually hear your own thoughts.
Sea Turtles are my favourite animal to watch, the way the glide through the water, reminds me of the effortlessness of birds flying. They seem to be in a constant state of happiness, like they have not a care in the world.
If only we could live in the same relaxed state.
