Connecting to Country

We are the people of this land in NSW. We are the outback people, we are the mountain people and we are the people that occupy the land by the sea.
We come from many backgrounds, yet we are all connected to our land.
Our connection runs deep, for thousands of years we have cared for and lived off this great southern land. Mother earth has provided us with plenty and in return we nuture her. We take what we need, and nothing more, for this country will remian plentiful, if we show her the respect she deserves.
We come together to celebrate this land and everything it provides for us, we trade food, skins and weapons. We learn from each other, as we have always done. Sharing the stories of our ancestors through music and dance.
