DESCRIPTION
The Dragonfly is often seen as a symbol of hope or new beginnings. They begin life below the surface of the water, then when they are ready for the transformation into a dragonfly, they will crawl up a vine and set themselves in place to grow and transform into a new being. For this reason, many people use a dragonfly for artwork or tattoos as a symbol for change and growth.
In some cultures, Dragonflies are seen as the souls of our loved ones returning to let us know they are ok.
For me the Dragonfly symbolises new beginnings, shedding our old skin and reinventing ourselves. To take on a new chapter and give it everything, like we have no tomorrow.
